词汇是语言体系中结构和意义的统一体,是语言的主要基本单位。我国英语学习者,尤其是初级英语学习者,虽然非常重视英语词汇学习,但词汇一直是他们的难项和弱项。不掌握一定数量的词汇,就无法运用语言进行交流。正因为词汇在英语学习中起着如此重要的作用,所以如何通过策略手段来帮助学生习得词汇、记忆词汇并正确运用词汇也成为了广大英语教师及语言工作者所关注的问题。本文从直接教学法、语境教学法、联想法等几个方面论述了词汇教学的方法问题。
Vocabulary is the unity of structure and meaning in the language system and is the main basic unit of language. Although English learners in our country, especially junior English learners, attach great importance to English vocabulary learning, vocabulary has always been their difficulty and weakness. Without a certain amount of vocabulary, you cannot use language to communicate. Because vocabulary plays such an important role in English learning, how to use strategies to help students acquire vocabulary, memorize vocabulary, and use vocabulary correctly has become a major concern for English teachers and language workers. This article discusses the methods of vocabulary teaching from the aspects of direct teaching method, contextual teaching method and joint idea.
