踏上了人民教師的崗位一九五二年八月,李尚文以优良成績在天津第二十中学高中畢業了。这个青年,很早就熱爱上了“电”这門科学,並且立志要做一个电机人才。畢業考試以後,他天天都在盤算着報考哪个大学。当他一想到不久就要進入高等学校的美好未來,心裏就有一种脫不出的高兴。可是,就在这个時候,他听到学校要留他担任初中物理教師。这个消息对他說來是太突然了,一時許多思想情緒不由得不湧上了他的心头。許多同学,有的就要進入高等学校,有的將去苏联留学,他們將來都是工程師和專家;他自己也曾为祖國的电气化事業幻想过許多,工廠、礦場、火力發电、水力發电……这些是多麼吸引人呵!然而自己却不能循着这条會經日夜响往过的道路前進了,現在要踏上的是一条被人們看作平淡無奇的、对他說來十分意外的道路。於是这样一种思想就浮現出来了,做一个教師是不光彩
