The full-time middle school chemistry syllabus pointed out: “Through the chemistry teaching in middle schools, students are required to be proficient in mastering important chemical terms such as common symbols, molecular formulae and chemical equations”. Judging from the results of the 1993 midterm exam, students did not achieve the formula for the chemical reaction equation, understand its chemical significance, and master the tool accurately and skillfully. The problems that students have are roughly the following: First, they are written incorrectly; Second, they are not balanced; Third, they do not understand the law of reaction.
