Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) is a family of ligand-activated nuclear transcription factors that belong to the nuclear receptor superfamily. PPAR is activated by the ligand involved in a variety of physiological and pathophysiological processes in the body, the regulation of a variety of metabolic processes in the body have an important role. This review summarizes the recent advances in the structure and tissue distribution of PPARγ, ligands, related signal transduction pathways, and rheumatoid arthritis in recent years, and on this basis, proposes the PPARγ signaling pathway on the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis as Disease treatment to find the target.
