基于“请求-响应”过程的“客户-服务器”模式是现代企业网络应用的主要模型。高速传输技术的发展和新型网络应用的出现,使得传统的TCP或OSITP等运输层协议在功能和性能两个方面出现了缺陷。本文首先简单介绍高速事务处理“高吞吐、低延迟”的通信需求以及传统协议所遇障碍,然后详细描述更好适合新型网络环境和应用需求的轻型运输层协议-XTP,并与传统协议进行相应的比较,显示XTP在支持高速事务处理所具有的明显优势。
The “client-server” model based on the “request-response” process is the main model for modern enterprise network applications. The development of high-speed transmission technology and the emergence of new network applications make the traditional transport layer protocols such as TCP or OSITP have defects in both function and performance. This article begins with a brief introduction to the high-throughput, low-latency communications needs of high-speed transactions and the barriers to legacy protocols. It then details the lightweight transport layer protocol, XTP, better adapted to the needs of new network environments and applications, in accordance with traditional protocols The comparison shows the obvious advantages of XTP in supporting high-speed transactions.
