The effects of CTAB and sodium chloride on the corrosion of cold-rolled steel in 0.5-2.0 mol / L sulfuric acid were investigated by weight loss method and electrochemical method. The results showed that the CTAB and NaCl mixture showed cathode-based mixed inhibitor, and the adsorption of the mixture accorded with Langmuir isotherm.The weight loss method and electrochemical method all showed that there was a synergistic effect of corrosion inhibition between CTAB and NaCl on the steel in sulfuric acid
