新课程理念下的中职英语课堂理应是充满生机和活力的课堂,但由于中职学校生源总体水平的下降和英语基础的薄弱,加之教师过于偏重知识的传授而忽视了对学生听说能力的进一步培养和提高,致使中职英语课堂没有呈现课改所期望的“活起来、动起来、笑起来”的表向性目标。那么,如何改变这种“沉寂”的现状,以增强教学目的的实现?无疑,开展课堂讨论是实现这一理念的重要方略之一。通过多向信息交流的课堂讨论,能不断激活师生的课堂行为,让英语学习过程成为不断生成、张扬、发展、提升的自主学习的过程,从而增加语言储备,增强英语学习的自我效能感,使中职学生初步形成应对未来职场英语的应用能力。
