Fluid permeability in fractured rocks is closely related to pore pressure changes, and this relationship has a great influence on fluid flow in rocks. We define the permeability compliance as the permeability compliance γ that is sensitive to the permeability k at confining pressure P_c, pore pressure P_p, and to the cylindrical and spherical pores. The results show that there is no diffusion effect in the piston-like pressure profile when the permeability is high, compared with other compliance. It is estimated that this phenomenon occurs in large-pore flexible rock systems with large γ-values.
