清朝康熙年间,山西上党地区有一位著名学者,名叫陈廷敬,深得康熙皇帝器重。他一生官运亨通,从中进士初任会试同考官到文渊阁大学士,一直在清政府中央机构任职。除兵部外,还担任过吏、户、礼、刑、工五部的最高领导职务,是编纂我国第一部大型字典《康熙字典》的总裁官。康熙皇帝多次赐书给他,表扬他的功绩。他也确实不愧是清初政坛上的一位显赫人物。
During the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, there was a famous scholar in the Shangdang area of Shanxi Province, named Chen Tingjing, who won the emperor Kangxi. He had a long career of running the government, from whom he first assumed the position of a probationary official with a bachelor’s degree in Wenyuan Pavilion and has been serving in the Central Government of the Qing government. In addition to the Ministry of Defense, but also served as officials, households, ceremony, punishment, five top leadership positions, is the compilation of China’s first large dictionary “Kangxi Dictionary” chief officer. Emperor Kangxi repeatedly gave him a book, praising him for his merit. He really deserves to be a prominent figure in the political arena of the early Qing Dynasty.
