  Cellulose-based self-assembled micelles have emerged as a new generation of value-added fimctional nanostructures that have been develop from green and cheap materials from biomass resources.In our previous work,amphiphilic cellulose graft copolymers containing hydrophobic groups,e.g.long-chain alkyl and polylactide,were successfully synthesized and formed nanosized micelles for the encapsulation of hydrophobic compounds with a potential application in the field of drug delivery and sensing trace explosives [1,2].
