This study makes the first attempt to extend the singular boundary method(SBM)to the use of time-dependent fundamental solution of scalar wave equation.An inverse interpolation technique is introduced to determine the origin intensity factor of the time-dependent SBM.And then empirical formulas are obtained to evaluate origin intensity factors.The scheme is mathematically simple,easy-to-program,only use of initial and boundary condition data,free of integration and mesh.Then we make a numerical investigation on the present strategy to test its accuracy and efficiency on a few benchmark problems.It can be found that the present SBM results are in good agreement with the analytical solution.
