Water wave-structure interaction is an important topic in ocean engineering.The interactions of multiple-cylinder-array structure may result in hydrodynamic loads and wave run up on the individual-cylinder structure that differ significantly from the loads and run up they would experience in isolation.In this study,we present numerical analysis of water wave interaction with an array of bottom-mounted circular and elliptical cylinders by using singular boundary method(SBM).The near trapped mode phenomenon is revisited in the wave structure with impermeable circular and elliptical cylinders,and the maximum amplitude appearing on the inner sides of the cylinders.
