与研究我国天然气历史紧密相关的井盐史研究会于1982年10月19日在自贡市召开成立大会暨首届学术讨论会。出席会议的代表来自35个单位共74人,他们是来自中国科学院自然科学史研究所、清华大学、科学出版社代表和省博物馆、成都市社会科学研究所,成都地质学院代表;自贡市市委、人大、政协有关负责同志和各机关、团体的领导及科技人员以及来自市属各大盐厂的和各专业学会的代表。
On the 19th of October 1982, the well salt history research association closely related to the study of the history of natural gas in our country held its inaugural meeting and the first symposium in Zigong City. The representatives from the 35 institutes attended the conference. They all came from the Institute of Natural History of Chinese Academy of Sciences, representatives of Tsinghua University, Science Press and Provincial Museum, Chengdu Institute of Social Sciences and Chengdu Geological Institute; representatives of Zigong City CPC Committee, People’s Congress, CPPCC responsible for the comrades and organs, groups of leaders and scientific and technical personnel and from the municipalities of the major salt factory and the professional society representatives.
