1986年12月,在广州由中国力学学会、航空学会、宇航学会主办的全国第四届复合材料学术会议上,诞生了一个“全国青年复合材料研究会”。该研究会是由参加这次会议的青年人发起,并得到与会老一辈学者和中年科技工作者的热情支持而成立的一个与从事复合材料研究有关的青年科技工作者的全国性学术团体,聘请了王俊奎、周履、吴人洁、吴云书、罗祖道、于翘、王震鸣、顾震隆、曾汉民、宋焕成十位先生为学术顾问,(上日)在沟通横向交流——全国复合材料研究领域中的学术思想交流,纵向交流——青年科技工作者与老一辈和中年科技工作者之间的交流,避免走弯路和重复性工作,迅速地了解研究动向,站在复合材料研究领域的最前沿,以期能产生“复合效应”,解决复合材料领域中存在的问题。研究会的活动形式主要采取:〈一〉分区域活动,有条件时集中,争取借助下届全国复
