通信设备、音响设备、计算机等精密机械零件要使用强度超过200kgf/mm~2的高强度不锈钢。一般都使用经冷加工后诱发生成马氏体而得到高强度的SUS301、SUS304等亚稳奥氏体不锈钢。但这类钢即使经冷加工,最高也只能达到200kgf/mm~2的强度。此外,添加多量的C、N,利用固溶强化提高强度的方法会在晶界生成碳氮化物,降低耐锈性;添加Al,利用析出硬化的方法会影响热加工性。
