我厂使用的皮带运输机,上托辊全部采用三个托辊组成的槽形托辊组(图1)。托辊筒体采用一般焊接钢管制作,容易磨穿。后来改用橡胶质托辊,这种托辊虽耐磨性好,但价格较贵,而且材料来源有限,加工工序也复杂。由于每组采用三个托辊,使托辊数量多,相应地轴承的数量也多。另外,槽形托辊组,两边的托辊向内倾斜,而选厂矿石往往伴有泥砂和水,操作人员打扫卫生时,常常用水冲洗。这样,泥砂和水很容易流进托辊轴承内,加速轴承的磨损,使维修费用和维修工作量都很大。
