[Objective] The study aimed to study the climatic characteristics of different regions of Chinese cassava cultivation and the storage method of cassava stems overwintering. [Method] In Hepu, Nanning, Guangxi, Guangxi, and other places, pre-winter preservation was conducted in Hepu, Nanning, Zhejiang Province. After the spring, the number of surviving shoots of cassava was checked, and the survival of buds at different stages of cassava stem storage was calculated rate. [Result] The survival rate of buds of tapioca in winter in Hepu area of Guangxi Province was more than 90.00%, and the survival rate of stem buds was 94.38% in shallow burial. In the area of Nanning, Guangxi Province, The highest survival rate (94.98%) was observed in stems and shoots of cassava stored in greenhouses. The survival rate of cassava stems was almost over 90.00% The highest survival rate (98.79%) was observed in the burial of cassava seedlings placed horizontally. The survival rate of stems of the cassava seedlings were higher in the areas of Jiangyong in Hunan Province and Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province. [Conclusion] The frost-free zone in the area south of 21.6 ° north latitude can be stored in open-air shallow burying and lidding membrane stacking. The frost-frost to frost fringe at 21.6 ° ~ 23.8 ° latitude can be covered with plastic greenhouse and alluvial membrane And the greenhouse buried in the ground and other methods of storage; north latitude 23.8 ° north of the heavy frost and low temperature zone can be cold cave or cellar storage and plastic shed plus small vertical arch storage law.
