Film and television works adapted from masterpieces have the characteristics of integrating multiple media such as text subtitles, voice and images. In the famous reading teaching, pupils formed some reading barriers due to various reasons. Therefore, the use of film and television resources to stimulate students’ interest in reading classics is of great significance to Chinese teaching practice. This paper starts from the necessity of promoting pupils’ reading in classics and explores how teachers should use video resources to motivate pupils to read classics. First, promote primary school students need to read the famous (a) primary school students lack of interest in reading.
