高职高专学生的英语词汇量小是他们英语学习的一个瓶颈。词汇教学是贯穿英语教学的一个必不可少的环节。学生的词汇运用能力不仅直接影响了交际的效果,而且还制约了学生的听、说、读、写、译等英语技能的发展。因此,高职高专的英语词汇教学不容忽视,要根据学生的学习情况,从教学中的实际问题入手,并运用行动研究的方法探讨高职高专学生的词汇教学,切实提高他们的词汇运用能力。
The small English vocabulary of students in higher vocational colleges is a bottleneck in their English learning. Vocabulary teaching is an indispensable part of English teaching. Students ’vocabulary ability not only directly affects the communicative effect, but also restricts the students’ listening, speaking, reading, writing, translating and other English skills development. Therefore, the teaching of English vocabulary in higher vocational colleges should not be neglected. According to the students’ learning situation, starting with the practical problems in teaching, and using the method of action research to explore the vocabulary teaching of students in vocational colleges, and effectively improve their vocabulary use ability.
