多边形鋼筋混凝土屋架是第四设计院在1957年年底开始设计的,先后曾设计了跨度为12、18、24公尺,屋面荷重自每平方公尺120公斤到每平方公尺380公斤的各种类型的屋架的标准圖。多边形屋架首先是在我院設計的新建与扩建厂的厂房中采用,其后又为部內部外的其他設計单位及建设单位采用。因此,其推广的面是比較广的,目前有的厂房已建成投入生产,有的尚在施工。为了貫徹杭州現場会議的精神,部基建局指示我院对多边形屋架进行重点質量檢查。根据这个指示,我院除对设计計算与圖紙进行檢查外,曾在二月份召集在京有关設計單位、施工單位及建設单位举行座談,征詢对多边形屋架的意見;此后又去建设地点了解实际施
Polygon reinforced concrete truss was designed by the Fourth Design Institute at the end of 1957.
