在目前人才竞争激烈的国际大环境下，我国人才外流的问题提醒我们，当务之急是要抓紧对高层次科技人才的历史文化教育和熏陶，因为中国缺少的不是一般科技人才，而是具有优秀历史文化修养的高素质的人文科技人才。近一百年来中国在摆脱屈辱和困难、追求幸福和光明且奋力向西方学习的过程中，不经意间竟抛掉了自己太多的历史文化。如何做有高层次人文素质的科技人才，许多可敬的院士在这方面为我们作出了榜样。
