South Korea K21 next-generation infantry fighting vehicles (NIFV) belong to amphibious vehicles, has been successfully developed by the South Korean Army, used to replace the current K200 series of infantry fighting vehicles. The car was first developed by Doosan Infracore, a subsidiary of Doosan Corporation. In December 2008, Doosan DST, a maker of K21 NIFVs, was formed through the spin-off of defense industrial enterprises from Doosan Infracore. The captain has a length of 6.9 m, a width of 3.4 m, a height of 2.6 m and a mass of 25 t. It has 3 crew members and 9 soldiers. The car uses composite armor, multi-layer anti-missile soft anti-missile defense system, ceramic and fiberglass to provide a high level of protection for occupants.
