由于部分农村中学存在着为应试而教学的思想,往往忽视了农村实用知识的教与学,致使学生上了几年中学连写个报告、拍个电报、签个合约的起码常识也不具备。这种与农村生活实际不相适应的教学状况,妨碍了学生在农村广阔天地里发挥才干。针对这种情况,我以“当今农民需要哪些语文知识”为主题,组织学生进行别开生面的社会调查,搜集有关资料让学生自行编写《农村应用文》。这项活动既丰富了学生的课外生活,又调动了他们的学习积极性,受到了广大农民群众的赞扬。我先向学生列举了农民群众上门求人代写实用文的事例,接着在课堂上搞了一次“突然袭击”:给学生提供一些农村实用文的有关材料,如申请、合约、协议等,让他们按要求为农民代笔。由于学生平时忽视对实用文知识的学习和积累,代笔的结果不是内容有误,就是格式不规范,闹出了不少笑话。
