中央广播事业局于1958年12月23日到27日在江苏省徐州市召开了全国中等城市新建广播电台现场会议。参加这次会议的有东北、华北、西南、西北、中南、华东等地区的46个中等城市的广播电台负责人五十多人.广播事业局地方广播部左熒同志,江苏省广播事业管理局副局长郁啓祥同志也参加了这次会议。会议交流了广播工作经验,并根据党的八届六中全会决议精神检查和总结了1958年的工作。徐州台在会上介绍了多快好省地发展广播事业和组织宣传工作大跃进的经验。苏州、黄石、南通等市广播电台介绍了工作情况。在座谈会上,大家认为徐州台工作的基本经验对他们有很大的启发,尤其是对业余编辑组、业余文工团、记者当促进派、节目“下放”以及利用电灯开放广播等问题,感到很大兴趣。
