自从波特兰水泥问世以来已经有150年的历史。在此期间,特别是近几十年来,由于科学技术的发展和生产建设的需要,新的水泥品种不断出现,约近百种。但在水泥的分类和命名上,缺乏一个统一的、世所公认的、有严格顺序的科学定名系统。于是,在生产领域就形成了各人根据自己的概念和理解,或以制造方法、使用范围;或以原料、特性来区分类别和定名。有的标新立异,有的明明是同一品种却有两个名称,有的一种水泥用于什么工程便叫什么水泥。以见诸我国出版物所载的水泥名称为例,
It has been 150 years since Portland cement was first introduced. During this period, especially in recent decades, due to the development of science and technology and the need for production and construction, new types of cement have emerged, with nearly 100 species. However, in the classification and nomenclature of cement, there is a lack of a unified, world-recognized and scientifically named system. Thus, in the field of production, each individual is formed according to his own concepts and understandings, or by means of manufacturing methods and scope of use; or by classifying raw materials and characteristics and classifying names. Some of them are new and different, and some of them are clearly the same species but have two names. Some cement is used for what kind of project is called what cement. Take the name of the cement contained in the publications of our country as an example.
