如果没有足够的词汇量做储备,学生的阅读只会被查字典或根据上下文猜测词义而打断,阅读过程相当缓慢,自然索然无味。提升学生的阅读兴趣,培养学生处理阅读材料的能力,帮助学生初步熟悉阅读中的高频词汇,扫清词汇障碍是日常英语教学的重点和难点。笔者通过对赣州市某重点中学教师的一堂高中词汇公开课的观摩,从词汇教学各个步骤来反思高中英语词汇教学的设计原则和处理策略。该节公开课的授课内容为人民教育出版社教材必修五Unit 4 Making the
If there is not enough vocabulary for the reserve, the student’s reading will only be interrupted by searching the dictionary or guessing the meaning according to the context. The reading process is rather slow and naturally uninteresting. Improving students’ reading interest, cultivating students’ ability to handle reading materials, helping students to become familiar with high-frequency vocabulary in reading, and clearing vocabulary obstacles are the key and difficult points in daily English teaching. Through the observation of a high school vocabulary public lesson of a key secondary school teacher in Ganzhou City, the author introspected the design principles and processing strategies of high school English vocabulary teaching from various steps of vocabulary teaching. The teaching content of the open class in this section is compulsory for the People’s Education Press textbook.
