作者对所在学院参加了2012年英语专业四级统测的学生进行了英语学习动机的问卷调查,分析了其学习动机类型及动机强度呈现出的特点,并结合他们的TEM-4成绩,探寻两者之间的相关性。研究结果表明:(1)整体而言,学生更倾向于工具型动机;(2)高分组的学生既有明显的工具型动机又有较强的融合型动机;(3)学生的TEM-4成绩与动机强度存在正相关,差异显著。
