大学生思想政治教育工作是高校学生成才培养的重要方面。二十一世纪不断变化着的新形势给高职院校的学生思想教育工作提出了新的挑战。班级是一个学校对学生实施教育和管理的基层组织,在学校德育工作中具有举足轻重的地位。作为高校学生思想政治教育的核心和骨干力量的辅导员,就必须正确把握班级学生思想政治状况的总体特征,深刻认识存在的问题,加强理论学习,提高自身人格魅力,注重学生心理健康教育,通过班风和学风建设,学生寝室文化建设,主题班会的开展,和发挥班级学生模范带头作用,引导学生树立正确的人生观、价值观和荣辱观;从而有效开展思想政治教育,让高职学生的教育真正做到宽进严出,促进高职教育的可持续健康发展。
