推动地壳构造运动及地震活动的动力问题是地球科学和地震预报的重要课题,有不少人在这方面做过工作,提出了各种动力学说,但仍然存在不同程度的问题.比如转速变化学说虽然能解释许多地质现象,但它在地球内可能引起的应力量级是很小的,不足以引起地壳运动.实际上,转动的地球在地心引力和旋转离心力作用下存在着一个基本的应力场.本文基于一个物理模式对存在地壳内的一种基本应力场进行了分析.文中统一用“地壳”来称呼地球
