Tillage system has a significant impact on methane fluxes from paddy fields. Rice-wheat rotation, the average methane emission flux was 5.37mg / m2 · h-1, which was only 1/3 of the flux of 16.10mg / m2 · h-1 in winter paddy field. Tillage systems also affect the seasonal variation of methane emissions from paddy fields. The key to controlling methane emissions from paddy fields is regulating water levels
