“挑战杯”首届大学生课外科技活动成果展览及技术交流会,于1989年12月20日在清华大学主楼开幕,24日结束,这次展览会,共有来自全国21个省、市、自治区的52所高校的430项成果参展和交流,经国家科协组织的评奖委员会,认真评选,共评出1等奖6名,二等奖19名,三等奖38名,四等奖91名。12月25日下午在人民大会堂闭幕,严济慈副委员长出席了闭幕式,并向获奖者发奖.
