校对单缸柴油机气门间隙,一般是将活塞置于压缩上止点,然后调整气门摇臂螺钉,使气门摇臂与气门杆的间隙达到规定的要求。整个过程中,确定压缩上止点是关键。通常的方法是,将飞轮上的上止点记号对准水箱上的刻线(此时进、排气门都处在关闭状态),这时活塞处于压缩上止点位置。但是,当飞轮刻线与水箱刻线不清楚或夜间无照明时,校对气门间隙是无法依照其记号找到活塞处于压缩上止点位置
