素质教育的核心问题是激发学生的创新意识,培养学生的创新思维能力。在小学数学课堂教学过程中,如果只强调学生专心听讲,认真做笔记和练习,只要求学生按老师的讲课思路一问一答,那么学生参与教学过程的机会很少,不得不被动地接受知识,结果课堂气氛势必沉闷,难以调动学生思维的积极性,更不能诱发学生的创新意念。相反,如果教师创设一定的教学情境,就能够使数学课堂成为激发学生创新意念的良好场所。
