目的了解初中学生英语学习焦虑及与英语成绩的相关性,提出相应对策和建议。方法采用Horwitz(1986)的外语课堂焦虑量表(FLCAS),对新乡市400名初中生进行问卷调查和相关研究。结果初中生英语学习焦虑均值为2.969 0。男女生在英语课堂学习焦虑4个维度中交际畏惧和负评价恐惧两个方面差异有统计学意义(P﹤0.05),初中生英语学习成绩和学习焦虑中的考试焦虑维度存在负相关(r值为-0.277,P﹤0.05)。结论初中生在英语学习中普遍存在焦虑感,且其学习焦虑和英语成绩呈负相关。
Objective To understand the correlation between English learning anxiety and English achievement of junior high school students and to put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Methods Using Horwitz (1986) Foreign Language Class Anxiety Scale (FLCAS), 400 junior high school students in Xinxiang City were investigated by questionnaire and related research. Results The average anxiety of English learning of junior high school students was 2.969. There was a significant difference between male and female students in the four dimensions of learning anxiety in English classroom: communicative fear and negative appraisal fear (P <0.05). There was a negative correlation between junior high school students’ English study scores and test anxiety in learning anxiety -0.277, P <0.05). Conclusion Junior high school students generally have anxiety in English learning, and their learning anxiety is negatively correlated with their English scores.
