To fulfill social responsibilities and become a corporate citizen, such ideas and awareness seem to be a relatively distant goal for growing Chinese companies. Take a look at the mine disasters that have emerged in these years, what has happened due to environmental pollution, “cancer village”, “devastated villages”, and the labor and capital games behind the peasant wage-paying actions year after year. Between the dignity and the greed of capital, the harmony described by corporate citizenship and corporate social responsibility is beautiful, and it is as pale and powerless as the gauze that wraps wounds, in the face of the once-cold mine death toll.
