The most remarkable feature of the world economy today is the concentration of production in space. Therefore, phenomena such as geographical proximity, cluster economy and industrial agglomeration gradually become the frontier and hot issues of theoretical research. In response, Professor Zhang Zongqing and Zhang Yin from School of Economics and Management of Southeast University, in a study on “industrial agglomeration, knowledge spillover and regional growth”, analyzed the specific industrial agglomeration and the resulting knowledge spillover in the Yangtze River Delta region The problem has been studied in depth. As one of the major projects of the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Base of the Ministry of Education and one of the achievements of “Research and Development Alliance for the Yangtze River Delta Region in Promoting Independent Innovation Capability,” the study argues that knowledge of agglomeration preconceptions may not be appropriate and, more importantly, Looking for a more “efficient” industrial agglomeration: on the one hand, we should give full play to the role of external economies of scale on the one hand; on the other hand, realize regional cooperation at the industrial level, promote regional division of labor and reduce the isomorphism of industries influences.
