An Introduction to the Existing Buildings in China’s Cities At present, the buildings in our cities can be divided into two parts. One part is the building left over from liberation, and the other part is a newly built building after liberation. The buildings left over from the liberation, due to the characteristics of the old Chinese society, can be divided into the old-style architectural styles, namely the “Chinese style” and the western style.
