《戏剧报》今年开辟了“剧事琐议”栏目,所发文章言简意胲,颇有意趣。但是,我对八三年第二期肖曼同志《看戏要讲文明》一文却不以为然。该文把剧场里少数观众中途退场以及看完戏不鼓掌等,一律视为“不文明”的表现,恐怕有失偏颇。剧场里上演的节目能不能抓住观众,关键是看那戏的思想内容和艺术质量。对任何演出,观众是最权威的评定者。看好戏,是享受,能受益,观众也自然地会为之叫好、鼓掌。看不好的戏,叫人倒胃口,观众与其花了钱买罪受,还不如趁早退出剧场。这恐怕不能算做观众的不文明。那坚持到底没有中途退场的,已经够捧场的了,难道还要强迫人家鼓掌吗? 还有,某些舞台剧演出之前,报刊上往往就先大
