处于转型升级时期的东部经济增长中心正逐步淘汰中低端产业,那么劳动密集型产业在我国如何重新布局呢?本文按照经济发展水平和所处的地理位置进行梯度划分,经济增长中心为第一梯度,离增长中心较近或者经济发展水平仅次于增长中心的地区为第二梯度,离增长中心较远或者经济最不发达的地区为第三梯度。实证研究表明,第一和第三梯度地区劳动密集型产业的比重会下降,第二梯度地区会上升,若无资源优势和政策倾斜的支撑,第三梯度与第一、第二梯度之间的差距会拉大,将来以新的地区不平衡(即第三梯度与第一、第二梯度之间的经济差距)来代替旧的地区不平衡(即中西部与东部之间的经济差距)。
