[目的/意义]探讨用户在公共检索计算机上进行OPAC检索时遭遇失败的原因,为增加用户对系统的使用体验提供对策和建议。[方法/过程]以国内某大学图书馆OPAC日志数据为例,从数据资源相关、用户相关、系统功能相关3个角度进行编码和分析。[结果/结论]总结出三大类、19个具体类目的失败原因:首先,用户相关原因为主要原因,主要体现在用户检索策略方面的欠缺;其次是馆藏缺失问题,以文学类图书居多;再次是系统相关原因,主要体现在空格的“与”“或”默认处理上。并从OPAC系统改进、用户培训和资源建设方面提出对策和建议。
[Purpose / Significance] Discusses the reasons why users encounter OPAC retrieval on public search computer, and provides countermeasures and suggestions for increasing users’ experience of using the system. [Method / Process] Taking the OPAC log data of a certain university library in China as an example, we encode and analyze it from the aspects of data resources, user-related and system functions. [Results / Conclusion] The reasons for the failure of the three major categories and 19 specific categories are summarized as follows: Firstly, the main reason for the user-related reasons is mainly the lack of user search strategies; the second is the lack of collections; the majority of literary books ; Again, the system-related reasons, mainly in the spaces “and ” “or ” default processing. And from OPAC system improvement, user training and resource construction countermeasures and suggestions.
