张云和先生(1902—1991),名钧,字云和,江苏泰兴人(图一)。在苏州读完小学和中学后,考入江苏省立第四师范学校特设艺术专修科(该学校后与东南大学合并,1928年更名为国立中央大学艺术教育科,今为南京师范大学)学习。1926年,张先生大学毕业后在无锡的一所师范学校教授美术。1932年,他以优异的成绩考入日本东京高等工艺美术学校(今日本千叶大学)图案科继续深造,攻读研究生。
Mr. Zhang Yunhe (1902-1991), Ming Jun, Yun Yun, and Taixing, Jiangsu Province (Figure 1). After completing primary and secondary schools in Suzhou, he was enrolled in the Art Specialization Section of Jiangsu Provincial Fourth Normal School (merged with Southeast University after the school and renamed as the National Central University Department of Art and Education in 1928 and now a student of Nanjing Normal University) . In 1926, after graduating from college, Zhang taught art in a normal school in Wuxi. In 1932, he went on to study as a graduate student in the pattern department of the Tokyo Advanced Arts and Crafts School (today’s Chiba University, Japan) with his outstanding achievements.
