打开我国的版图,少数民族聚居的九省、区几乎占了我国国土总面积的三分之二,由此可见,在当今的社会主义现代化建设中,不可能设想在少数民族地区经济落后的情况下,而中国的经济可以步入发达国家的行列。面对着如此重大的历史任务,我国的少数民族地区的经济如何来谋求发展呢?高言弘教授主编的《民族发展经济学》(复旦大学出版社1990年1月出版),以一股强烈的创新、开拓意识和求实、严谨的学风开垦了这一片学术领域中的处女地。
Opening up the territory of our country, the nine provinces inhabited by ethnic minorities constitute almost two-thirds of the total land area of our country. From this we can see that it is impossible to envisage the backward economy in ethnic minority areas in today's socialist modernization drive , While China's economy can step into the ranks of developed countries.
