p1 6基因是一个多肿瘤抑制基因 ,主要作用在于能够直接参与细胞周期的调节 ,抑制细胞周期素依赖性蛋白激酶CDK4/CDK6的活性 ,阻止细胞从G1期进入S期。p1 6基因的失活将导致细胞周期失控 ,细胞异常增殖而癌变。因此 ,进一步明确 p1 6基因与肿瘤的关系有助于揭示肿瘤发生机制 ,对临床的临床诊断、治疗和预后等方面都有着重要的意义
The p16 gene is a multi-tumor suppressor gene whose main function is to directly participate in the regulation of the cell cycle, inhibit the activity of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase CDK4 / CDK6 and prevent cells from entering the S phase from the G1 phase. Inactivation of the p1 6 gene results in uncontrolled cell cycle and abnormal proliferation of cells and carcinogenesis.
