致编者——Parker等(2011)在对中国四川2008年汶川地震后发生的滑坡细致分析中指出,地震滑坡物质估计方量是同震地壳抬升方量的约2~6倍。基于滑坡内的物质会很快被运移出龙门山地区的合理逻辑,他们利用这种差异证明侵蚀看来对物质的移除比地球动力学对龙门山生长作用的过程更快。我赞赏他们的分析,但是我认为他们忽视了一个方面,从而使这一推论变得至多仅仅为似乎合理的,甚至非常可能是虚假的。
To the editor - Parker et al. (2011) pointed out in detail the landslide detailed analysis after the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 in Sichuan Province of China that the estimated mass of seismic landslide material is about 2 ~ 6 times of the crustal uplift volume. Based on the logical reason that the material in the landslide will soon be transported out of the Longmenshan area, they use this difference to demonstrate that erosion appears to remove matter faster than the process by which geodynamics imparts growth to the Longmenshan. I appreciate their analysis, but I think they ignore one aspect so that this inference at best just seems plausible and may even be false.
