In this paper, the subsolidiation diagram of Si_2N_2O-AlN-Y_2O_3 system is proposed and the phase relationship of O’-β’Sialon in Y-Si-Al-O-N system is modified. In the Si-Al-ON system, there should be a junction between Si_3N_4 and O ’_ (ss) (x = 0.3), which divides the O’-β’ two-phase region into two compatible triangular regions: Si_3N_4 -Si_2N_2O-O ’_ (ss) (x = 0.3) and Si_3N_4-β’ _ (ss) (z = 0.8) -O ’_ (ss) (x = 0.3). Si_3N_4-O ’_ (ss) (x = 0.3) -YAG-H phase, forming a compatible tetrahedral region at 1550 ° C. If heated to 1700 ° C and then annealed at 1200-1300 ° C, the H phase disappears and the compatible region becomes Si_3N_4_O_ (ss) (x = 0.3) -YAG-Y_2Si_2O_7. (Or H), Si_3N_4-O ’_ (ss) (x = 0.3) -YAG-Y_2Si_2O_7 (or H), and Si_3N_4- β_ (z = 0.8) -O’_ (ss) (x = 0.3) -YAG. The determination of these three compatibility zones is of practical significance for the development and manufacture of O’-β’Sialon binary ceramics.
