大学英语是我国高等教育的一门重要课程。在我校(政法类学校)的众多基础课中,大学英语是课时最多、持续时间最长的少数几门课程之一。同时,随着社会对英语技能重要性认识的整体性提高,大多数学生从踏入大学校门的那刻起,就怀着掌握好英语的迫切愿望。所以,大学英语的学习成果从很大程度上会影响到学生总的学业成就感和自信心。由此,大学英语教师担负的责任可见一斑。
College English is an important course in our higher education. Among the many basic lessons in our school (Politics and Law Schools), College English is one of the few lessons that lasts for the most hours and longest. At the same time, with the improvement of society’s understanding of the importance of English skills, most students embark on the urgent desire to master English well from the moment they enter the university. Therefore, the results of college English learning will largely affect the overall academic achievement and self-confidence of students. As a result, the responsibilities of college English teachers can be seen.
