徐淮地区是我省小麦的重要产地,播种面积约占全省的一半,历年来,由于时常遭受干热风的危害,往往出现丰收的长势,平收或欠收的年成.一般受害轻的减产10—20%,害重的减产30%以上,对于这一地区小麦高产稳产威胁很大,成为小麦生产上迫切需要解决的问题.为了探明干热风发生规律,提出有效的防御措施,江苏省气象局、徐州地区气象台、徐州农业气象试验站、徐州地区农科所和前中国农科院江苏分院等单位,多年来进行了一系列的调查和试验研究工作,取得了一定的结果,现综合整理如下.
