希蒙得木(Simmondsia Chinensis)系希蒙得术科、希蒙得木属常绿灌木状植物。原产美国加利福尼亚地区,具有很强的抗旱能力和抗盐碱能力,每英亩产值达3000-5000美元。70年代起,美国已形成“希蒙得木热”。近年来,我国部分省(海南、四川、云南等地)也进行引种。1986年3月6日,中南林学院在株洲宾馆牵头召开引种协作会议,由朱大业老师负责组织在湖南各地进行引种栽培。自治州由州林科所进行引种栽培。现将情况总结如下。
