1982年美国一部小说中有这样一段话:“哈佛、耶鲁、普林斯顿花费很大的精力来防止麻烦,而防止麻烦最好的方式就是注意你周围是些什么人,有多少。”很多人认为这是美国名校乐此不疲地挑选申请人的原因之一。为了帮助中学生朋友,特别是那些想进入美国名校的年轻人做好留学申请工作,本期的《留学播报》,我们特别从欧阳博士和张先生两人联手所著的《你也能进哈佛》一书中选取了美国名牌大学的招生程序,希望对读者的留学申请有所帮助。
In a 1982 American novel, there was such a statement: “Harvard, Yale, and Princeton spent a lot of energy to prevent trouble, and the best way to prevent trouble is to pay attention to what people are around you and how much is there.” People think that this is one of the reasons why American schools have never stopped selecting applicants.
