让幼儿从小就受到革命前辈、英雄、模范人物的光辉形象和英勇业绩的熏陶,是幼儿园思想品德教育的重要内容。但如何使英雄形象在孩子心上扎根,仍须从幼儿的生活实际出发,选择教材,改进教法。因为许多英雄人物的感人事迹是发生在刑场上、战场土或危险时刻的,同孩子们的生活距离太远,而且幼儿知识少,缺乏理性分析能力,如果老师只停留在借助某些直观教具讲讲故事,就生拉硬扯与幼儿生活“结合”,要他们仿效,是不会收到什么效果的。
